ABOUT PEER SUPPORT

Always caring.
Always confidential.
Always supportive.

Peer Support will help to establish a healthy and communicative environment within Calabasas High School by offering guidance and support for students through peer counseling, community outreach, school wide campaigns, and peaceful conflict resolution.

Welcome!

Peer Support is a program run by and designed for Calabasas High School students to offer support and guidance to their fellow peers. With over 40 current Peer Support members, the program is organized by a group of dedicated students who undergo extensive training that consists of leadership skills, team building activities, communication skills, and a variety of topics affecting teenagers.

We provide students with one-on-one peer counseling, student transition (grades 10-12), foreign exchange student transition, community outreach, peaceful conflict resolution, and both school- and district-wide campaigns. In addition, we strive to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for CHS students, as well as listening to any issues they may have to help them come to a logical solution.  Click here to learn more about our new student transition program.

CHS students can always find Peer Counselors at our ongoing lunch group, FRIENDS in room H106, which is open every day at lunch. FRIENDS is a place, where students can relax, hang out with other students, meet new friends, and ask any questions students may have. All students are completely welcome! To learn more about FRIENDS click here. Additionally, any student can always go to the counseling office and fill out a form to request to speak with a Peer Counselor, visit room H106 at any time at lunch if they are in need of counseling, or click here to request to see a Peer Counselor!

We've got your back,
